Launching Myo-Spir, LLC
As a hygienist, educator, wife, mother, and all-around dental nerd, I’ve always looked to help my loved ones and patients live better and healthier lives. I knew I needed to continue researching solutions to oral issues finding answers to why oral conditions such as these are increasing in our world regardless of age, demographics, or societal influence
Face and Joint Pain
Low facial tone
Gummy smiles
Increase in cavities
Narrow and underdeveloped upper palates and jaws
Increase in teeth shifting and orthodontic relapse
Chronic Clenching/grinding
Mouth breathing/open mouth posture
Sleep Apnea
Poor Nasal breathing
Tongue Trust and poor swallowing patterns
Chronic ear and nose infections
As I embraced this journey by mentoring with specialists, I learned so much about what is under the surface of routine dental care and how connected the structures of our mouths are to our overall health. As such, supporting that health has become an obsession of mine beyond just standard dental hygiene. Over the last year, I’ve focused on leveraging my years of experience in the dental office, expanding my skillset, growing my knowledge, and earning the title of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist.
Today, I’m excited to put my hat in the ring as a specialist myself with the launch of Myo-Spir, my specialist practice for Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, to bring relief for all those issues and improve the way we breathe. I’m excited to take you all on this journey with me!
